Role description

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Job Duration: 12 Months Contract – W2

Job Location: 15 Smith Rd, Suite 3000 | Midland, Texas 79705 (hybrid/onsite role)

   • Candidate must be in the Midland area by the Midland Office - 15 Smith Rd, Suite 3000 | Midland, Texas 79705

   • M-F 8a-5p hybrid/onsite role

Description:

Some of the main responsibilities for this role will include:

   • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. Conduct quality audits to data sources and automated reports.

   • Remove corrupted data and fix coding errors and related problems in databases.

   • Develop and maintain databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format.

   • Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data. Work with subject matter experts to make necessary changes to databases and our data warehouse to improve working efficiency of our data architecture.

   • Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems. Manage and improve existing reporting systems to provide business value.

   • Assist in solving pain points related to data quality, data lineage and master data management (MDMS).

   • Work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and collaborate with data governance team.

   • Prepare and maintain dashboards for monitoring data quality and for relevant business indicators.

   • Knowledge of data analytics tools utilization is a plus.

Qualifications:

   • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related experience.

   • Five+ years of data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with analytical software or equivalent related education, particularly working with databases.

   • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods.

   • Strong knowledge of Project Management principles, methodology, and tools.

   • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI.

   • Oil & Gas background is considered a plus."
