What You'll Do • Engage with operations stakeholders, business data users and subject matter experts to capture and translate data requirements for both BAU and change initiatives. • Articulate customer needs to internal and external service providers (including STT CRD), validate proposed solutions with business, technology and data teams, and agree acceptance criteria. • Produce analysis artefacts - detailed requirements, data flows and service descriptions - and manage engagement with delivery teams to ensure timely implementation. • Design solutions that are scalable, repeatable and sustainable, balancing strategic design with tactical delivery and defining BAU support arrangements. • Follow data governance and risk frameworks, identify and formally log risks, and ensure compliance with data standards and policies. • Investigate and root-cause data issues, cleanse and align complex datasets, and work with stakeholders to resolve live issues and implement data quality controls. • Contribute to data-domain methodology and design forums (including Tech and Data Design Authority), promoting best practice and standardisation across solutions. What You Bring • Proven experience delivering data projects within the asset management / investment management sector. • Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, data solution design and operating model definition. • Deep understanding of the full investment data set including product-specific concepts such as fixed-income increments. • Solid knowledge of financial products, business capabilities, common data models and vendor landscapes. • Practical experience of data governance and stewardship, including data domains, ownership, critical data elements and application of standards. • Hands-on experience with data quality: defining DQ rules and metrics, validation processes and dashboards, and mapping complex data flows at attribute level across processes. • Collaborative stakeholder-management skills, with experience working in large-scale change programmes and partnering with front-office users, architects, data management teams and external delivery partners while meeting tight or changing deadlines.
