Role description
Allegis Global Solutions is recruiting for a contract position, and the assignment will be at Warner Bros. Discovery Role: Senior Data Analyst Contract: 6 months Payrate: £ 350 per day via PAYE Location: Leavesden Mode: Hybrid Senior Data Analyst – Analytics Engineer Role My notes; • Advanced PowerBI, Excel, SQL, Tableau and/or Power Automate • Python (optional but good to have) • Previous, extensive experience requirements gathering • Previous Business Analyst experience (good but not necessary) • Data cleaning and data transformation experience • Great presentation skills • Minimum 5 years experience • Great team player • Creative data visualisation and dashboard creation • Power BI and/or Azure Certified • Must be UK based and able to commute 3 days a week Draft 1 Responsibilities • Lead the design and delivery of dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Automate. • Experience of requirements gathering with stakeholders, translating complex business needs into robust analytics and data workflows. • Own data quality practices, including data cleaning, transformation, validation, and accurate models for reporting. • Establish and refine best practices for data modelling and visualisation standards. • Present analytical findings, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams with clarity. • Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to automate data processes where possible, optimise reporting infrastructure, and improve existing analytics frameworks. • Good team leader and member – foster a culture of technical excellence, creativity, and continuous learning. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analytics, PowerBI engineering, analytics engineering, or closely related disciplines. • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power Automate, with a strong track record of delivering comprehensive dashboards. • Extensive experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and translating business questions into analytical solutions. • Strong background in data cleaning, transformation, modelling, and preparing datasets for scalable analytics. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, for both technical and non‑technical audiences. • Demonstrated ability to create creative, user‑centric, visually compelling dashboards and data products. • Power BI and/or Azure certification strongly preferred. • Experience with Python is a plus. • Previous Business Analyst experience would be beneficial but is not essential. • Must be UK‑based and able to commute to the office 3 days per week. • Experience with Data bricks.
