Senior Data Analyst

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience in Power BI and SQL. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics. • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions. • Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across reporting systems. • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business decisions. • Document processes, data models, and reporting standards. Required Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role. • Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard creation). • Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying and data manipulation. • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis. • Background in business intelligence or data engineering.
