Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Glendale, California.
Duties:
• Architect and design scalable data products leveraging foundational data sets to support business needs and analytics initiatives
• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust codebases and frameworks for data products and services
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data strategies, assess existing assets, and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency
• Design and document data ingestion and transformation specifications to ensure consistency, quality, and usability across platforms
• Create comprehensive documentation and provide training or guidance on how to effectively use data products for automation, reporting, and decision-making
• Build and manage end-to-end data pipelines that automate the creation, transformation, and deployment of insights derived from analytical and predictive models
• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance the performance of statistical and machine learning models integrated within data products
• Partner with data scientists to operationalize methodologies that address complex marketing and business challenges
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional science and technology teams to align data solutions with enterprise goals and standards
Desired Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering and technology or related discipline
• Demonstrated academic or professional proficiency in statistics and probability, with a strong analytical foundation
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data modeling, transformation, and automation
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse and dynamic team setting
• Project management and business analysis experience preferred
