Senior Data Automation Consultant

Long Term Contract - Part Time flexible hours (10-20/week) Remote Position: Senior Data Automation Consultant Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Automation Consultant to work 10 - 20 hours per week. This is a remote position with flexible hours. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder with Power BI, DAX, Smartsheet and experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automated data workflows that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Design and implement enterprise-scale reporting environments using Smartsheet and Power BI. Develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and portfolio reporting solutions that provide real-time operational visibility. Build governed Power BI semantic models using DAX, Power Query, and role-based security to support enterprise analytics and secure data distribution. Analyze financial and operational business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization. Utilize CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems to support financial data automation and reporting. Translate business requirements into scalable data automation solutions. Maintain and optimize reporting infrastructure and automation processes. Provide technical guidance and best practices for data governance, documentation, and reporting standards. Troubleshoot and resolve data and automation issues to ensure consistent system performance. Lead or support enterprise automation and analytics initiatives. Train business and technical users on Smartsheet and Power BI platforms to improve adoption and self-service analytics. Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data automation or a similar role Experience with business intelligence tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI or similar platforms. Experience designing and implementing data automation and reporting solutions. Experience working with financial data, finance operations, or financial reporting environments. Experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems. Strong experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools. Experience working with data integration, data transformation, and reporting systems. Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Experience with workflow automation platforms. Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, or scripting for automation. Experience supporting enterprise analytics, reporting modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
