Role description
Our client has recently completed a go-live migration from Infor SyteLine (on-prem) to Infor CloudSuite and is entering Phase 2 of their ERP transformation journey. This phase focuses on data standardization and preparation for a Data Cube implementation. We are seeking a consultant with expertise in Infor CloudSuite, NetSuite, and IQMS (experience with at least two of these is required) to lead efforts in data cleansing, normalization, and integration across multiple ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Data Cleaning & Normalization
• Analyze and identify inconsistencies across ERP systems (Infor SyteLine, NetSuite, IQMS, Dynamics GP, MAS, Command Central).
• Standardize vendor IDs, product IDs, customer IDs, and other critical attributes.
• Develop rules and processes to resolve discrepancies (e.g., same product with different names in different systems).
Cross-System Standardization
• Create naming conventions, categorization frameworks, and tagging mechanisms.
• Integrate legacy data sources (Excel, homegrown ERP, disconnected databases) into a unified structure.
ETL & Data Migration
• Utilize SeeDataSync (current ETL tool) for on-prem data extraction and transformation.
• Ensure accurate migration to SQL Server while maintaining data integrity.
Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with Business Systems Analysts, IT teams, and leadership to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Provide clear documentation and progress updates to stakeholders.
Reporting Infrastructure Preparation
• Prepare clean, structured datasets for Data Cube implementation, enabling advanced reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
• Strong SQL skills for query writing and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SeeDataSync, Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx).
• Deep understanding of data cleansing methodologies.
ERP Knowledge
• Experience with Infor CloudSuite, NetSuite, and IQMS (2 of 3 required).
• Familiarity with Dynamics GP, MAS, and homegrown ERP systems is a plus.
• Background in data migration/consolidation in acquisition-heavy environments.
Data Analysis Skills
• Ability to identify gaps and redundancies in reporting structures.
• Skilled in creating tagging mechanisms for categorization and operational efficiency.
Communication & Collaboration
• Strong ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-oriented approach to working with client leadership and BSAs.
