Role description
Weโ€™re looking for a full-time, temp-to-perm Data Engineer to join our remote U.S.-based team. This role works in a modern, Microsoft-centric environment spanning multiple cloud platforms, with core technologies including Snowflake, Python, and SQL. Youโ€™ll help design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data infrastructure to power advanced data platforms. Contract Duration: 3 โ€“ 6 Months Required Skills & Experience โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field โ€ข 4+ years in data engineering โ€ข Experience with Snowflake-based solutions โ€ข Designing and implementing large-scale cloud data solutions โ€ข Strong in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing principles โ€ข Proficient with Python and SQL โ€ข Experience in agile environments โ€ข Familiar with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) โ€ข Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams โ€ข Able to troubleshoot complex technical issues โ€ข Self-motivated and results-oriented Desired Skills & Experience โ€ข Familiarity with big data technologies and modern data pipeline tools โ€ข Experience with multi-cloud environments โ€ข Background in procurement, supply chain, or ESG-related analytics โ€ข Experience optimizing Snowflake performance and cost efficiency โ€ข Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards โ€ข Strong documentation skills (runbooks, diagrams, data flow maps) What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown โ€ข 50% Snowflake โ€ข 30% Python / SQL โ€ข 20% Cloud platform administration & optimization Daily Responsibilities โ€ข 80% Hands-On Development & Implementation โ€ข 20% Collaboration, Documentation & Process Improvement Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
