W-2 🅿️ Paid Parking Provided One of our long-term Oil & Gas clients is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing data and analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking for a stable, multi-year contract with a respected Houston-based organization. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and support scalable data engineering solutions and data pipelines • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for enterprise reporting and analytics • Develop business logic using SQL stored procedures and NoSQL technologies • Design and maintain high-performance database solutions across structured and unstructured data environments • Develop and support Python-based applications, APIs, and microservices • Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to deliver data-driven solutions • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application and data support • Leverage modern development tools, automation, and AI-assisted development practices where appropriate Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, Elastic, MongoDB, or similar technologies • Advanced Python development skills • Experience building scalable, high-performance data processes and applications • Experience developing APIs, microservices, and integrating front-end applications with backend databases • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data integration • Ability to balance both development and production support responsibilities • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Location & Schedule: • Hybrid schedule: Minimum 3 days per week onsite in Downtown Houston • Paid parking provided
