Title- Senior Data Engineer Location-Carrollton, TX - USA Ideal Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • 7+ years of relevant work experience in the IT industry with a strong focus on databases and data pipelines • Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases, especially SQL Server with experience with SSIS • Working familiarity with a variety of database systems and data source types. • Practical knowledge of AWS data and compute services such as EC2, EMR, ECS, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, EventBridge and related technologies. • Proficiency in scripting or object-oriented languages such as Python/PySpark, Java and C#. • Experience building and optimizing AWS-based data pipelines, architectures, and high-volume data sets. • Exposure to BI tools like Tableau or Qlik and an understanding of how data supports reporting and dashboards. • Competency with MS Office Why join Sonata Software?
