Job Title: Data Engineer Duration: 18 months Location: Chandler, AZ Required Pay Scale: $60-65 hourly • • • Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates • • • • • • • W2 ONLY NO C2C • • • • Project Details: • Ongoing project – Project SPARTAN • Looking for a senior-level Data Management professional who can implement data management best practices across complex enterprise environments. • This role will focus on developing, governing, and improving structured and unstructured data and knowledge foundations that support AI and agentic capabilities. • Responsibilities include data quality, governance, lineage, metadata, data modeling, ETL, data pipelines, and preparing data and knowledge assets for AI consumption. • Partner closely with engineering, architecture, operations, governance teams, and subject matter experts. • Duration: 18 months • Location: Chandler, AZ • Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week • Remote: Not available • Employment: W2 only Must Haves • Senior-level experience implementing data management best practices • Strong experience with MySQL and Oracle Database • Hands-on Python experience • Experience with ETL tools, specifically Informatica • Strong SQL Server experience • Experience with Teradata • Strong understanding of data modeling and normalization • Experience developing and implementing data quality controls, validation, and remediation • Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage, ownership, and data freshness • Experience working with both structured and unstructured data • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders Desired Skills • Experience with Nateeza • Experience using AI tools • Knowledge of AI-ready data and knowledge management • Experience preparing data for AI, automation, search, or analytics • Understanding of AI grounding, context structuring, and metadata quality • Experience with network technologies or infrastructure environments • Experience creating reusable data standards, templates, controls, and documentation About Matlen Silver Experience Matters.
