Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Merrimack, NH. Key Tasks:
β’ Help the team in designing and building best-in-class data solutions using very diversified tech stack
β’ Design and develop ETL reporting and analytics solutions
β’ Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for software-based projects and products
β’ Solving production issues
β’ Interact effectively with business partners to understand business requirements and assist in generation of technical requirements
β’ Participate in architecture, technical design, and product implementation discussions
Requirements
β’ A proven foundation in data engineering - Bachelor's degree + preferred
β’ 6+ years of experience
β’ Extensive experience with ETL technologies
β’ Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker) will be preferred
β’ RMDS experience (Snowflake, PostgreSQL) - required
β’ Demonstrable experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Snaplogic)
β’ Experience working with Python in an AWS environment
β’ Experience with developing sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline including software configuration management, test automation, version control, static code analysis
β’ Strong experience of working in large teams and proven technical leadership capabilities
β’ Knowledge of Enterprise level implementations like data warehouse, automated solutions
β’ Knowledge of Cloud platforms and Services (AWS - IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) - required
β’ Expert in SQL and Stored Procedures on any Relational databases
β’ Advanced data manipulation languages and frameworks (JAVA, PYTHON, JSON) - required
β’ Good in debugging, analyzing and Production Support
β’ Application Development based on JIRA stories (Agile environment)
β’ Working Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
β’ Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
β’ Ability to work with global Agile teams
β’ Ability to mentor junior data engineers
β’ Ability to negotiate, influence and work with business peers and management
β’ Ability to develop and drive a strategy as per the needs of the team
β’ Knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts - preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
