🚀 Hiring: Data Engineer / Senior Analyst – Rutherford, NJ About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Senior Analyst (C12) to join our Data Science & Technology team in Rutherford, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, data engineering, QE fundamentals, scripting, and big data technologies, with exposure to Retail & Wealth domains preferred. This role involves building scalable data solutions, supporting analytics and regulatory reporting, and collaborating across Agile technology teams. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows • Develop high-quality data solutions for analytics and regulatory reporting • Work with large datasets using SQL, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and related technologies • Perform data transformation, validation, optimization, and quality assurance • Support automation, deployment, and scripting activities • Collaborate with business and technology teams in Agile environments • Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards Required Skills • Strong SQL and database management expertise • QE fundamentals including testing, validation, debugging, and quality checks • Unix/Linux shell scripting • Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala • Hands-on experience with ETL and Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and Snowflake • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts • CI/CD and DevOps exposure Preferred Skills • PySpark • Kafka / Real-time data processing • Cloud platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or GCP • NoSQL databases including MongoDB and DynamoDB • Scheduling tools such as Autosys or Cron Preferred Domain Experience • Retail Banking • Wealth Management • AI/Data Engineering initiatives Location Rutherford, NJ
