🚨 Hiring: Databricks Data Engineer | New York, NY PTR Global is hiring an experienced Databricks Data Engineer to join a new team and new project with an immediate start. 📍 Location: New York, NY 🏢 Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days/week ⏳ Duration: 6 months 💰 Rate: $70–$75/hr on W2 🕐 Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 🚀 Start Date: ASAP 💼 Experience: 7+ years 🔄 Contract-to-Hire: No 🎯 Interview Process: 2–3 rounds No C2C ONLY W2 🔹 What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of Data Engineering experience • 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience • Strong experience with Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog & Databricks Workflows • Strong Python and/or Scala and SQL skills • Experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration • Experience designing and optimizing scalable Databricks data pipelines • Experience with Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) processes is highly preferred • Familiarity with Anaplan, Oracle ICM, or Varicent is a plus • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Kafka, or equivalent technologies • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently 🔹 Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Databricks data pipelines and architectures • Build data models, Delta Lake tables, notebooks, and workflows • Support Sales Incentive Compensation processes, including quota, attainment, commissions, and payout reporting • Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, IT, and BI teams • Optimize data quality, performance, automation, and pipeline reliability • Troubleshoot and resolve data and pipeline issues • Document data architectures, technical specifications, and development processes
