Role and Responsibilities The Senior Data Engineer designs and builds data foundations and end-to-end solutions for the business to maximize value from data. Key Characteristics Deep data focus with expertise across technology domains. Skilled communicator capable of engaging both technical developers and business managers; respected and trusted by leaders and peers. Actively supports the rollout and embedding of Data Foundation initiatives that enable key business programs. Coordinates change management, incident management, and problem management processes. Presents reports and findings to stakeholders and serves as the subject matter expert on Data Analysis and Design. Mandatory Skills – MUST HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE: 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, SAP – Master ELT Processes: Master Data Modeling: Master Data Integration & Ingestion: Skilled Data Manipulation & Processing: Skilled Version Control / CI-CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps – Skilled Data Tools & Services: Data Factory, Databricks, SQL DB, Synapse, Stream Analytics, Glue, Airflow, Kinesis, Redshift, SonarQube, PyTest – Skilled Optional Skills Experience in project management or leading a Scrum team Experience with BPC or Planning tools Exposure to external technical ecosystems MKDocs documentation experience
