Senior Data Engineer

Position: Senior Data Engineer Duration: 6-12 Months Location: Plano, TX or San Antonio, TX – hybrid – 4 days onsite/1 day remote Pay Rate: $75.00/hr on W2 Job Description Top Skills (In Order of Importance) • DBT (Data Build Tool) – 3+ years building production data models • Snowflake – Advanced experience developing and optimizing data solutions • Data Modeling – Dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas • Advanced SQL • Python • ELT/Data Pipeline Development • Jira & Confluence Required Qualifications • 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.(9 and up is ideal) • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) in production environments. • Strong experience developing solutions within Snowflake. • Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills. • Experience developing ELT pipelines and transforming large datasets. • Experience with dimensional data modeling and building analytics-ready datasets. • Proficiency with Python for data engineering and automation tasks. • Experience using Git/version control. • Experience working within Agile environments using Jira and Confluence. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
