Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and manage scalable production data systems that support advanced industrial technology operations. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end data platform, develop reliable data pipelines, and drive best practices across cloud infrastructure, orchestration, and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain end-to-end data platforms using AWS and industrial data systems
• Design scalable data architecture and production-grade pipelines
• Define engineering standards for CI/CD, testing, documentation, and code reviews
• Support on-premise servers and operational data infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on data system integrations
Required Skills
• 6+ years of experience in production data engineering or platform engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as RDS, IAM, VPC, and S3
• Advanced SQL and Python skills
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience building scalable and reliable data systems
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Ignition, SCADA, or time-series/industrial data systems
• Exposure to BI tools or climate/energy domain projects
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
