Role description
We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Data Engineers - W2. Senior Data Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams to build modern data pipelines, data lakes, and enterprise reporting solutions that support critical healthcare operations and analytics. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing • Strong experience with Azure Cloud technologies • Hands-on expertise with: • Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Azure Databricks • Azure Synapse Analytics • Azure SQL Database • Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures • Strong SQL and ETL/ELT development experience • Experience building scalable data pipelines and workflows • Proficiency in Python or PySpark • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications • Healthcare domain experience is highly preferred • Experience with Power BI or enterprise reporting tools • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare interoperability standards is a plus • Azure certifications are preferred Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms and pipelines • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale healthcare datasets • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements • Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security standards are maintained • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and performance issues • Support modernization and migration initiatives to Azure cloud platforms • Create technical documentation and best practices for data engineering processes • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and deployment activities Additional Information • 100% Remote within the United States • Immediate interview process • Long-term opportunity with a leading healthcare organization
