Senior Data Engineer

A large enterprise in the banking industry is building and enhancing its enterprise data platform to improve analytics, reporting, and predictive insights. This platform supports business‑critical decision making by providing reliable, well‑governed data across teams in a regulated environment. We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using modern cloud data tools. This role is hands‑on and focused on data transformation, quality, and reliability, with close collaboration across engineering, analytics, and business teams. What You’ll Work On • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data management systems • Develop and optimize SQL‑based data models for analytics and reporting use cases • Build and maintain data transformations using dbt • Work with Snowflake as the primary cloud data platform • Ensure data quality, reliability, and adherence to business and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to improve data accessibility and usability Required Skills • Strong SQL experience • Hands‑on experience with dbt • Hands‑on experience with Snowflake • Experience working with relational and non‑relational data systems • Experience building production data pipelines in an enterprise environment • Experience with at least one backend or data programming language such as Python or Java • Experience working with cloud‑based data platforms or environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Nice to Have • Financial services or banking experience • Power BI experience • Regulatory reporting experience
