Description: β€’ This organization is responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining a high-performance, distributed, microservice-based advertising platform across multiple digital properties. The team develops and supports proprietary advertising technology, including ad serving and delivery, campaign management, reporting, and a wide range of internal and external integrations required to operate and evolve a best-in-class video advertising business. β€’ The Ad Intelligence team’s mission is to transform advertising platforms through the use of data and AI across TV and streaming video. The team builds solutions to measure and optimize every stage of the advertising lifecycle. It is a cross-domain group delivering end-to-end solutions across technical areas such as machine learning, big data, microservices, and data visualization. β€’ The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to serve as a core contributor to an advertising data platform engineering group. This group focuses on big data infrastructure, operational data, audience solutions, inventory forecasting, and full-funnel measurement capabilitiesβ€”providing foundational layers for addressable advertising platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in big data systems along with strong backend services or full stack expertise. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, driven, and passionate about building impactful solutions in these domains. Responsibilities: β€’ Build components of large-scale data platform for real-time and batch processing, and own features of big data applications to fit evolving business needs β€’ Build next-gen cloud based big data infrastructure for batch and streaming data applications, and continuously improve performance, scalability and availability β€’ Contribute to the best engineering practices, including the use of design patterns, CI/CD, code review and automated test β€’ Chip in ground-breaking innovation and apply the state-of-the-art technologies β€’ As a key member of the team, contribute to all aspects of the software lifecycle: design, experimentation, implementation and testing. β€’ Collaborate with program managers, product managers, SDET, and researchers in an open and innovative environment Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of professional programming in Java, Scala, Python, and etc. β€’ 4+ years of big data development experience with technical stacks like Spark, Flink, Singlestore, Kafka, Nifi and AWS big data technologies β€’ Knowledge of system, application design and architecture β€’ Experience of building industry level high available and scalable service Preferred: β€’ Experience with processing large amount of data at petabyte level β€’ Demonstrated ability with cloud infrastructure technologies, including Terraform, K8S, Spinnaker, IAM, ALB, and etc. β€’ Experience with ClickHouse, Druid, Snowflake, Impala, Presto, Kinesis, etc. β€’ Experience in widely used Web frameworks (SpringBoot, React.js, Vue.js, Angular, etc.)
