Location: Glasgow
Duration: 8 Months
Hybrid work – 2 to 3 days a week onsite mandatory
(Eligibility : Should be eligible for SC Clearance)
Senior Data Engineer (with Power BI expertise)
• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Architect and optimise enterprise-grade data models and warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
• Own data quality, lineage, and observability standards across multiple systems.
• Implement and enforce secure data governance, access control, and compliance with data protection standards.
• Drive automation of data pipelines and infrastructure through CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure performant and trusted datasets.
• Evaluate and introduce new data engineering tools and practices.
• Desirable: experience with PySpark, AWS Glue, or other distributed/big-data frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy and standards.
