📍 Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA or Bellevue/Seattle, WA)
💰 Pay: $100/hour (W2) only W2 Candidate required for this role no C2c, No OPT Ead.
📅 Duration: 6 Months (Strong potential for extension or conversion)

Join a leading technology company's Data Analytics Engineering team and help build the data platform that powers executive and leadership reporting across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data engineering initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and create high-impact data solutions used across the business.
What You'll Do
✅ Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark and Airflow (or similar)
✅ Design robust, high-performance data models and architectures
✅ Work with Databricks, modern databases, and data lakes
✅ Develop data quality frameworks to ensure trusted, reliable data
✅ Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product teams, and leadership
✅ Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence
✅ Build next-generation self-service data platforms
Required Skills
✔️ 8+ years of Data Engineering experience
✔️ Strong Python and/or Scala programming skills
✔️ Advanced SQL expertise
✔️ Spark, Airflow, Databricks experience
✔️ Experience with Redshift, DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies
✔️ CI/CD experience using Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools
✔️ Experience building large-scale batch and streaming data systems
✔️ SaaS industry experience preferred
✔️ Exposure to Machine Learning
✔️ Open-source contributions are a plus
