Senior Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Consultant
Austin, TX (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing team focused on building modern data platforms, scalable pipelines, and enterprise reporting solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, working with cloud technologies, and turning raw data into meaningful business insights.
Youβll collaborate with engineers, analysts, architects, and business teams to support large-scale analytics and data modernization initiatives.
What You'll Do
β’ Design and build scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
β’ Integrate data from multiple systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
β’ Develop advanced SQL queries, data models, and warehouse solutions
β’ Support cloud-based data environments including Snowflake
β’ Improve data quality, automation, and overall platform performance
β’ Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
β’ Participate in Agile development teams and project delivery
β’ Create technical documentation, data mappings, and workflow diagrams
β’ Help drive modernization and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills
β’ Strong experience with ETL/ELT development tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or IICS
β’ Advanced SQL and data warehousing experience
β’ Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
β’ Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, flat files, and enterprise systems
β’ Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and enterprise data architecture
β’ Ability to build scalable, maintainable, and reusable data solutions
Nice to Have
β’ Python scripting or automation experience
β’ Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, or DevOps practices
β’ REST or SOAP API integration experience
β’ Exposure to tools such as Tableau or Power BI
β’ Experience with Java, JavaScript, MuleSoft, or similar technologies
β’ Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics or modern cloud data capabilities
