Role description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support statewide portfolio reporting, business intelligence, and data analytics for the State Unified Information Technology Environment.
• Candidates MUST have strong project management reporting & portfolio analytics experience
• 5+ years, of professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related information technology discipline.
• Experience integrating, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple enterprise systems using SQL and modern data engineering techniques.
• Experience developing interactive dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting using Microsoft Power BI or comparable business intelligence platforms.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance measures.
• Candidate must be local to MI or Prefer MI based candidates for this role.
