Senior Data Engineer

UK-based (Fully Remote) - Outside IR35 - AWS Data Engineer (Terraform Expertise Required) We’re looking for a skilled and highly experienced AWS Data Engineer to join a high-impact programme focused on delivering secure, scalable, and compliant data solutions in AWS. This is a contract role, outside IR35, and fully remote, offering flexibility and the chance to work on meaningful, large-scale data projects. What You’ll Be Doing • Designing and implementing Lakehouse-style architectures using AWS HealthLake, Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, and Lambda. • Building robust ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows in AWS Glue. • Ensuring data governance, privacy, and protection aligned with industry and regulatory standards. • Deploying and managing infrastructure using Terraform, including cross-account AWS integrations. • Collaborating with a team of cloud and data specialists, contributing to Agile delivery and MVP iterations. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with AWS data services (Glue, HealthLake, Redshift, etc.). • Strong hands-on skills in ETL development, data transformation, and AWS Glue workflows. • Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments in AWS. • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and multi-account AWS architecture. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
