UK-based (Fully Remote) - Outside IR35 - AWS Data Engineer (Terraform Expertise Required)
Weβre looking for a skilled and highly experienced AWS Data Engineer to join a high-impact programme focused on delivering secure, scalable, and compliant data solutions in AWS. This is a contract role, outside IR35, and fully remote, offering flexibility and the chance to work on meaningful, large-scale data projects.
What Youβll Be Doing
β’ Designing and implementing Lakehouse-style architectures using AWS HealthLake, Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, and Lambda.
β’ Building robust ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows in AWS Glue.
β’ Ensuring data governance, privacy, and protection aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
β’ Deploying and managing infrastructure using Terraform, including cross-account AWS integrations.
β’ Collaborating with a team of cloud and data specialists, contributing to Agile delivery and MVP iterations.
What Weβre Looking For
β’ Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with AWS data services (Glue, HealthLake, Redshift, etc.).
β’ Strong hands-on skills in ETL development, data transformation, and AWS Glue workflows.
β’ Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments in AWS.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and multi-account AWS architecture.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
