🔐 Senior DLP Engineer (Microsoft Purview) 📍 Irving, TX 75063 (Onsite) 📅 12-Month Contract (Strong Extension / Conversion Potential) 🚀 Build Enterprise-Scale Data Protection From the Ground Up We’re looking for a Senior DLP Engineer to architect and mature a production-grade Microsoft Purview DLP program inside a complex, multi-cloud retail enterprise. This isn’t policy administration. This is analytic engineering — designing detection logic, reducing false positives, and translating regulatory requirements into enforceable technical controls across thousands of endpoints and cloud workloads. If you’ve built custom classifiers and tuned DLP rules at scale, this role was built for you. 🧠 What You’ll Own 🔎 Design and deploy baseline DLP policies across: • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) • Endpoint DLP • SaaS & cloud applications • Structured and unstructured data environments 🛠 Build & tune: • Custom Sensitive Information Types • EDM (Exact Data Match) classifiers • Trainable classifiers • Advanced detection patterns 📊 Reduce false positives through telemetry-driven tuning 🔗 Integrate DLP with Microsoft Defender and adjacent security platforms 📘 Translate PCI DSS, SOX, and state privacy requirements into precise technical controls 📈 Define KPIs and build executive dashboards (Power BI or similar) 🏗 Formalize enterprise data classification taxonomy 🎯 What We’re Looking For ✅ Deep hands-on Microsoft Purview DLP experience ✅ Experience building custom SITs and EDM classifiers ✅ Strong analytic tuning and detection engineering background ✅ Experience integrating DLP with Defender and APIs ✅ Experience in PCI / SOX regulated environments ✅ Ability to build dashboards and executive reporting Bonus Points 🌟 • SC-400 certification • CISSP • Retail or distributed enterprise experience • Multi-cloud environment exposure 💡 Why This Role Is Different This is a high-visibility Security Engineering role where you will: ✔ Build a DLP program from early stage to production maturity ✔ Own analytic logic and detection fidelity ✔ Directly impact enterprise risk posture ✔ Establish measurable reduction in false positives ✔ Influence executive-level reporting and metrics 📍 If you’re ready to engineer DLP the right way — with precision, ownership, and impact — we’d love to connect.
