• Senior Data Migration Engineer - SAP • London Based - Onsite 1 day per week, mostly remote after the first month • 6 month contract • Outside of IR35 • £410.00 We are seeking experienced Data Migration Analysts to support a large-scale global transformation programme that is replacing core ERP and middle-office platforms across a substantial multi-site UK operation. Data migration is critical to the success of the programme, and you'll play a key role in preparing high-quality data for pilot go-live and subsequent deployment phases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transformation initiative and take ownership of hands-on data migration activities, enabling operational teams to focus on subject matter expertise and business validation. What You'll Be Doing As a Data Migration Analyst, you'll be responsible for executing the end-to-end data preparation process across multiple data domains, ensuring data is mapped, cleansed and ready for migration. Key responsibilities include: • Mapping source data to target data models and applying agreed business rules. • Cleansing, validating and preparing large volumes of data for migration. • Identifying and resolving data quality issues and exceptions. • Documenting mapping logic, transformations and migration decisions. • Preparing data outputs for SME review and incorporating feedback through to sign-off. • Collaborating with data owners, system owners and project stakeholders to maintain migration readiness. • Supporting knowledge transfer and documentation handover at the conclusion of the project.Essential Experience • Proven experience delivering data migration projects within ERP or other enterprise system implementations. • Strong data mapping, data cleansing and transformation experience. • SAP • SQL • Python • S4 Hanna - Desirable • Ability to work within a structured data migration methodology.
