Senior Data Migration Validation Analyst

Phoenix, AZ Our client is an innovative enterprise leader dedicated to modernizing core systems and delivering high-performance cloud technology solutions. We are seeking a Data Migration Analyst to oversee end-to-end data reconciliation and quality assurance for a system transformation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between legacy infrastructure and modern cloud architecture, ensuring data integrity, relational mapping, and zero record loss as data moves through staging environments into Salesforce Service Cloud. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing • Executing end-to-end data reconciliation across each stage of the migration pipeline to verify record counts, hash totals, and summary figures across legacy staging and cloud target environments. • Authoring and executing SQL validation scripts (utilizing window functions, CTEs, and advanced joins) to audit Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) rules, transformation logic, and field constraints. • Validating Salesforce target environments using SOQL, Data Loader, and API workbench tools to verify relational schema integrity, parent-child object mappings, and external IDs. • Triaging, documenting, and tracking data defects (such as character encoding errors, orphaned records, and constraint violations) in close collaboration with ETL developers and platform engineers. • Building automated validation workflows using Python, data profiling scripts, or advanced analytical tools to conduct row-by-row cross-system file comparisons. Here’s What Our Ideal Candidate Has • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server query writing, schema verification, and database auditing. • Proven experience validating Salesforce Service Cloud environments, including familiarity with SOQL, object schemas, and data loader utilities. • Demonstrated track record in data conversion testing, end-to-end reconciliation, and ETL/migration validation. • Familiarity with legacy data structures, including fixed-width flat files or legacy mainframe extraction validation. • Experience with Python scripting, automation tools, or AI-assisted data tools for automated file comparisons (Preferred). #AccessData
