Role description
• Senior Data & Performance Analyst - PowerApps and Power Automate
• Bristol - Onsite 2 days a week

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data and Performance Officer to lead data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and performance management activities across a portfolio of low-carbon and net zero programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping regional net zero initiatives through evidence-based decision making. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, developing performance reporting systems, managing digital tools and dashboards, and ensuring senior stakeholders have access to meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Working alongside colleagues, local authorities, government stakeholders, academic institutions, and delivery partners, you will help drive impactful projects that contribute to the UK's transition to a low-carbon future.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Data and Performance Officer, you will:
• Lead the development and delivery of data analysis and research to inform strategic and operational priorities.
• Design and produce reports, dashboards and performance metrics for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Manage and enhance CRM systems, ensuring they meet the needs of multiple teams and projects.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence tools using Power BI and other Microsoft technologies.
• Deliver training and support to colleagues on CRM and reporting systems.
• Lead GIS-based projects and spatial data analysis activities.
• Establish strong relationships with partners, universities, local authorities and government bodies to develop evidence and data-sharing approaches.
• Present complex technical information in a clear and accessible way to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Ensure data governance, quality assurance and GDPR compliance across all reporting activities.
• Lead on performance dashboard development and programme reporting.
• Represent the organisation on regional and national data-related working groups.
• Act as the organisation's Data Champion and Information Asset Custodian.About You
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.Essential Requirements
Qualifications & Knowledge
• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a discipline with a strong analytical component.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
• Power BI
• Power Automate
• Strong understanding of CRM systems and business intelligence reporting.
• Knowledge of GIS and data visualisation tools.
• Understanding of coding and query languages such as SQL, DAX, HTML and JavaScript.
