Position Title: Senior Data Product Analyst Location: New York, NY Clearance Requirements: None Pay Rate: Competitive; open to negotiation based on experience Position Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Analyst to join a dynamic team on a contract basis in New York, NY. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to develop, refine, and operate data products that directly support business objectives. The ideal candidate excels at translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements, fosters collaboration across teams, and ensures the delivery of high-quality data solutions. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business and technical teams, maintaining detailed documentation, and supporting continuous product improvement. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful data initiatives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define technical and business requirements for data products. • Lead workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions to elicit and align stakeholder needs with organizational goals. • Develop clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to guide data product development and enhancements. • Create comprehensive documentation, reports, and communication materials to ensure stakeholder alignment. • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the product lifecycle for data requirements and issue resolution. • Communicate project plans, progress updates, risks, and issues effectively to relevant teams and stakeholders. • Partner with engineering, analytics, and UX teams to facilitate successful implementation of data solutions. • Manage prioritization of features and updates based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives. • Support testing activities including developing test plans, creating test cases, and documenting defects. • Develop and maintain system documentation such as process flows, journey maps, and data models. • Monitor data product performance and collect user feedback to support ongoing improvements. • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to data products.
