Job Description Job Title: Senior Data Science Associate Consultant Job Type: Full-time Location: Remote - The US Job Summary ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership. Key Responsibilities β€’ Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and ML models addressing large-scale, high-dimensional problems. β€’ Architect data-driven systems combining statistical, predictive, and generative modeling techniques. β€’ Evaluate and integrate emerging datasets, frameworks, and tools into scalable production pipelines. β€’ Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and experiment with hybrid AI systems using agentic or classical approaches. β€’ Collaborate directly with clients to define project scope, design analytical solutions, and deliver business impact. β€’ Lead teams of data scientists, ensuring methodological rigor, reproducibility, and innovation. β€’ Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through publications and research collaborations. Required Skills and Qualifications β€’ PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or Master’s with 4–6 years of data science experience. β€’ Expert in Python, statistical modeling, and advanced ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). β€’ Deep understanding of data architecture, MLOps, and model lifecycle management. β€’ Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines, fine-tuning generative models, and multi-agent systems. β€’ Strong experience with big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). β€’ Proven ability to lead analytical projects, mentor teams, and communicate technical results to executives. β€’ Experience in domains like healthcare, tech, or finance is a plus. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience fine-tuning generative models and integrating classic AI techniques. β€’ Prior leadership experience and a record of mentoring junior colleagues. β€’ Domain expertise in healthcare, transportation, technology, insurance, or related sectors.
