Senior Data Scientist

We are working with a global streaming giant, revolutionising how internal tools and infrastructure are built. They are seeking a data expert to join a team that optimises the developer experience, ensuring internal systems are fast, stable, and scalable for hundreds of world-class engineers. The Role • Drive product strategy by partnering with Product Managers and Engineers to define success for internal developer tools and cloud infrastructure • Perform full-stack analytics, defining key metrics, building robust datasets, and creating high-impact dashboards (SQL/Python) • Conduct exploratory research by deep-diving into technical logs and user behaviour to identify friction in the software development lifecycle • Influence change by communicating technical insights to senior stakeholders to prioritise high-value infrastructure investments What You'll Need • 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role, with mastery of SQL and Python/R • Genuine interest in how software is built, with familiarity with CI/CD, Cloud Infrastructure (GCP/AWS), or Software Architecture • Ability to translate complex system data into clear, actionable business recommendations • Quantitative background with a degree in Computer Science, Stats, Math, Economics, or a related field What's On Offer • Opportunity to be at the heart of technical innovation • Help scale one of the world's most admired tech companies to billions of users • Empower engineers who build applications used by millions Apply via Haystack today!
