Role description
Join a mission-driven federal IT program, applying cutting-edge NLP and Generative AI to solve complex, large-scale data challenges. You will own the full ML lifecycle from model development through cloud deployment, working alongside analysts and program stakeholders to deliver real impact.
What You'll Do
Build and deploy NLP pipelines and LLM-based solutions using Python, spaCy, NLTK, and LangChain. Train, fine-tune, and manage models end-to-end across the MLOps/LLMOps lifecycle. Develop scalable cloud-native workflows on AWS with Spark and Airflow. Analyze large transactional datasets across diverse sources using SQL and Pandas. Translate complex findings clearly for both technical teams and executive audiences.
Required
• Master's + 10 yrs experience, Bachelor's + 12 yrs, or 18 yrs in lieu of degree
• Expert Python, SQL, and data science fundamentals (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
• Hands-on NLP and production LLM/Generative AI experience
• MLOps/LLMOps deployment and operations experience
• AWS, Apache Spark, and Airflow experience
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and drive solutions with minimal direction
• Public Trust Clearance Required
• On-site 5 days/week
Preferred
Prior federal or state government IT experience. GPU/CUDA programming. NLP applied to anomaly detection.
