Our client is a well-funded AI startup building cutting-edge LLM-powered systems for commercial insurance — already deployed on real claims, real decisions, and real money. They are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join them.
This is a build role, not theory.
What You’ll Do
• Design and ship LLM / prompt-driven systems for claims analysis
• Work with messy, unstructured documents (PDFs, reports, emails)
• Build evaluation frameworks (accuracy, hallucination, evidence)
• Write Python pipelines and iterate fast in production
• Collaborate directly with clients to improve real-world outputs
What You Bring
• Must have insurance (claims experience)
• Must have experience in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
• Strong Python + SQL and experience shipping ML systems
• Hands-on with LLMs / RAG / prompt engineering in production
• Builder mindset: test, ship, improve, repeat
