Position Title – Senior Data Scientist Hourly Pay Rate (w2 Role) - $80 -$90 1 months plus Contract / Short Term Duration 100% Remote Job Summary Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with hands-on experience in generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) systems. This role involves working cross-functionally with agile teams to accelerate content development and support the full AI/ML model lifecycle—from design to deployment. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with senior data scientists to plan, execute, and report on generative AI projects. • Independently apply techniques in generative AI, NLP, and data science to solve complex problems. • Conduct research, perform analysis and modeling, and present findings to stakeholders. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support AI/ML initiatives. • Contribute to the development and deployment of production-grade ML, NLP, and GenAI systems. Required Technical Skills • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries • Experience with LLMs and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) • Familiarity with LLM prompting, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), semantic similarity, and embeddings • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Soft Skills & Core Competencies • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects • Analytical mindset with a focus on modeling and reporting • Clear verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences Qualifications • PhD in AI, Data Science, Statistics, or related field preferred • Master’s degree accepted with equivalent experience • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a data scientist following graduate education Preferred Experience • Hands-on experience with LangChain or LangSmith • Familiarity with the K–12 educational ecosystem is a plus • Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional team Must-Have Attributes • Proven ability to work independently and drive projects forward • Production experience with ML, NLP, and generative AI systems • Strong foundation in AI/ML model development lifecycle • Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
