Role description
Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support advanced analytics, modeling, and data-driven decision-making initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on using statistical analysis, machine learning, and data exploration to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is hands-on with data, comfortable working with large datasets, and able to translate analytical findings into clear, business-relevant outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights • Develop, validate, and maintain statistical and machine learning models • Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis • Partner with cross-functional teams to define analytics use cases and success metrics • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and model solutions • Communicate insights through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations • Monitor model performance and recommend improvements • Support forecasting, experimentation, and decision-support initiatives Required Qualifications • Experience in data science, analytics, or a related role • Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.) • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets • Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Experience working in fast-paced or agile environments Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Familiarity with big data or distributed data processing tools • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) • Exposure to model deployment, MLOps, or production analytics workflows • Background in healthcare, retail, or financial data domains
