Senior Data Scientist – VA (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Role Overview: Seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy AI/ML and GenAI solutions within a healthcare/health insurance domain. The role focuses on improving customer/advisor experience, predictive analytics, and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights. 🔹 Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deploy machine learning and GenAI models • Work on LLMs, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and Agentic AI • Analyze healthcare data (claims, member, provider, or clinical data) to generate insights • Provide technical leadership and drive data science initiatives • Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams • Ensure model deployment using CI/CD and AWS platforms 🔹 Required Skills: • Strong experience in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, AI/LLMs • Hands-on with OpenAI/Claude, RAG, LangChain • Experience with AWS (SageMaker), CI/CD pipelines • Solid understanding of statistics and data modeling • Experience in healthcare/health insurance domain (mandatory) • Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication skills 🔹 Nice to Have: • Experience with claims, member, provider, or clinical data • Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, or regulatory standards • Team leadership or mentoring experience
