About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a strong blend of analytical expertise, hands-on experience in optimizing replenishment strategies and resource allocation within supply chains, and solid production-grade coding skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive high-impact data science solutions in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to design innovative, data-driven solutions using cutting-edge tools and techniques.
• Develop, test, and deploy data science models using Python, SQL, and PySpark on platforms like Databricks.
• Translate machine learning and optimization models into scalable, production-ready code.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage repositories using GitHub Enterprise.
• Design, validate, and optimize mathematical programming and ML models for real-world applications.
• Break down complex business problems into actionable development tasks.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in sprint planning, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor, collaborate, and grow with a team of skilled Data Scientists.
• Stay updated through conferences, workshops, and community engagements.
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proven experience with enterprise-level data science solutions in the Semiconductor industry.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with production model deployment and coding best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning, mathematical optimization, and ML pipeline frameworks.
• Experience with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, MLlib, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• A self-starter with strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
