Job Summary
Our client, a leading airline organization, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team! This is a 4-month contract position located in Fort Worth, TX, requiring onsite work Tuesday through Thursday with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, and deploy production-ready machine learning and Generative AI solutions supporting enterprise customer experience initiatives
β’ Develop and optimize ML pipelines, model deployment processes, orchestration, monitoring, and production support
β’ Build customer-facing GenAI applications utilizing LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and knowledge base solutions
β’ Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
β’ Develop high-quality Python applications with a focus on performance, testing, maintainability, and code optimization
β’ Prepare, analyze, and transform data to support feature engineering and model development
β’ Continuously improve existing AI solutions while contributing to the design and development of new capabilities
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
β’ Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
β’ 5+ years of experience developing machine learning and AI solutions in production environments
β’ Expert-level Python programming experience, including production-grade coding, modularization, testing, and performance optimization
β’ Hands-on experience designing and implementing Generative AI applications, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, classifiers, and knowledge bases
β’ Experience building and deploying end-to-end ML/AI pipelines, including model deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization
β’ Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and model development
β’ Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
β’ Experience with Azure Machine Learning and Databricks
β’ Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
β’ Experience with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, CI/CD, and model monitoring
β’ Experience developing Agentic AI or customer-facing AI applications
β’ Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
β’ Experience within the airline industry
β’ Previous consulting experience

Compensation & Benefits
β’ Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $90.00 and $94.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
