Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join their team. As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will be part of the Data Science department supporting high-impact initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, innovative thinking, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Data Scientist Location: Baltimore, Maryland & open to remote Pay Range: $85-90/hr Depending on years of experience What's the Job? โ€ข Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle, including problem definition, data collection, and feature engineering. โ€ข Develop, evaluate, and deploy classification and regression models to optimize pricing, sales, and customer segmentation strategies. โ€ข Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data science solutions. โ€ข Work closely with data engineers and machine learning engineers to ensure scalable and maintainable deployment of models. โ€ข Operate independently to drive initiatives forward across multiple project phases in a fast-paced environment. What's Needed? โ€ข Proven experience delivering machine learning solutions from proof of concept to production. โ€ข Strong foundation in machine learning techniques, statistics, and data modeling. โ€ข Hands-on experience with classification and regression models, feature engineering, and model evaluation. โ€ข Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business stakeholders. โ€ข Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
