Here's the job details, Senior Databricks Platform Architect Location: 100% Remote (USA) Job Description We are seeking a Senior Databricks Platform Architect to support our client engagement under the DPP Program. This is a senior-level, long-term opportunity for an experienced professional with deep expertise in Databricks platform architecture, AWS infrastructure, security, networking, and Terraform automation. The ideal candidate will lead the design, deployment, and security of enterprise-scale Databricks environments while providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to customer teams. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Databricks platform architecture experience. • Strong expertise in Databricks Classic and Serverless Workspace deployments on AWS. • Deep understanding of AWS services, including S3, IAM, VPC design, Security Groups, NACLs, and Front-end/Back-end PrivateLink connectivity. • Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing both AWS and Databricks infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of Databricks platform security architecture, including: • Workspace isolation • Identity integration (SSO/SCIM) • Cluster access controls • Secret management • Network security patterns • Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise cloud platforms. • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, audit logging, and enterprise network controls. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to independently lead architecture workshops and customer enablement sessions. • Experience working closely with cloud, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams. • Must be onboarded/eligible to work on Citibank engagements. Preferred Qualifications • Experience leading customers through the Databricks Security Accreditation process. • AWS and Databricks certifications are a plus. • Experience in highly regulated environments such as banking or financial services. • Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps best practices. Ideal Candidate Profile • Strong Databricks Platform Architect with deep expertise in AWS infrastructure, networking, security, and Terraform. • Proven experience architecting secure enterprise Databricks platforms. • Customer-facing professional capable of leading technical discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation workshops. • Not a Data Engineer with limited platform or AWS infrastructure experience.
