Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Developer to join their team! This position is located in Burbank, California.
Duties:
β’ Deliver high-quality front-end and back-end feature development in an agile, fast-paced team environment within a large, matrixed organization
β’ Utilize appropriate technologies, languages, and frameworks to build, enhance, and scale the application in alignment with business and technical requirements
β’ Conduct thorough code reviews, recommend optimized implementation approaches, and troubleshoot technical issues effectively
β’ Write, execute, and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure product stability, performance, and quality
β’ Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, integration points, third-party or open-source licensing details, and associated risk assessments
β’ Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise terms for non-technical team members and stakeholders
β’ Collaborate closely with the Product team and other cross-functional partners using agile methodologies and established software development lifecycle practices
Desired Skills/Experience:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
β’ Strong background in GraphQL API design using frameworks such as gqlgen, Strawberry, or similar
β’ Proficiency in database query design with experience in Cypher, SPARQL, SQL, SurQL, Vector, or related query languages
β’ Hands-on experience working with graph databases
β’ Demonstrated specialization or strong interest in AI/ML, Generative AI, or other emerging technologies
β’ Prior experience in the media or entertainment technology industry is highly desirable
β’ Experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning and management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
