Senior Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Developer to join their team in New York, NY. Duties: • Uphold code quality, observability, and secure practices in a cloud-native environment • Design and build full-stack Java services and contribute to architectural discussions Requirements • 8-12 years of experience • Full stack Java with Spring Boot; strong fundamentals in design patterns, APIs, data access, and secure coding • Cloud native development; Containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS), and Azure services preferred • DevOps & CI/CD: pipelines, automation, blue/green releases • Quality & Reliability: unit/integration tests, observability (logs/metrics/traces), performance tuning, incident playbooks • Microservices & messaging: REST, Kafka/Event Hubs, resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker) • Data: SQL/NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB), caching (Redis), query optimization • Collaboration: Agile delivery, clear communication, and partnering across product/architecture/SRE/QA The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
