Role description
Title: Senior Camunda Developer
Location: Remote or Denver, CO
Experience: 5+ years in BPM solutions with Camunda [indeed +1]
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Camunda BPMN 8 workflows integrating with Java and microservice backends.
• Implement decision models (DMN) to support operational logic such as eligibility checks, clinical workflows, and compliance triggers.
• Integrate Camunda processes with APIs, event-driven systems (Kafka/AWS SNS/SQS), and UI/UX components.
• Lead sprint-level architectural decisions for automated workflow pipelines.
• Optimize deployment pipelines for Camunda cluster environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure strong monitoring and observability via Camunda Cockpit/Operate.
Technical Skills:
• Core Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.
• Camunda BPM 8 (Zeebe engine), Camunda Tasklist/Operate experience.
• REST API integration and cloud-native orchestration.
• Knowledge of Kafka, AWS Cloud, SQL/NoSQL, and Git CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with healthcare or claims workflow automation is advantageous.
