Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Digital Analyst – Personalization Analytics to support cross-brand personalization measurement and lifecycle analytics initiatives for a leading retail/eCommerce organization. This role will focus on understanding how personalized customer experiences influence engagement, conversion, repeat visits, and long-term customer value across digital channels.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital analytics, personalization strategy, A/B testing, customer behavior analysis, and SQL-based data analysis within an eCommerce or retail environment. This position will work closely with eCommerce leadership, Marketing, CRM, Technology, and Product Analytics teams to deliver actionable insights that improve customer experience and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain weekly KPI dashboards and reporting focused on personalization performance, customer engagement, conversion, retention, and repeat behavior.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis related to customer segmentation, audience targeting, personalized experiences, and lifecycle behavior trends.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify opportunities for personalization optimization and revenue growth.
• Partner with eCommerce, Marketing, CRM, and Technology teams to support personalization strategy and execution.
• Design, measure, and analyze A/B tests, multivariate tests (MVT), and holdout experiments to evaluate incremental lift and long-term impact.
• Utilize SQL and analytics tools to analyze customer-level data from enterprise data warehouses and customer data platforms.
• Analyze customer cohorts, repeat purchase behavior, engagement patterns, and lifecycle performance.
• Ensure data quality and measurement accuracy by collaborating with analytics engineering and IT teams on tagging validation and tracking implementation.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Drive data-informed decisions that improve onsite personalization and overall customer experience.
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in digital analytics, web analytics, eCommerce analytics, or personalization analytics.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics (preferred), Google Analytics, or similar web analytics platforms.
• Strong experience with personalization analytics, audience segmentation, lifecycle analysis, and customer behavior analysis.
• Proven expertise in A/B testing, multivariate testing (MVT), and experimentation analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience querying large customer-level datasets in data warehouse environments.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and executive-level reporting.
• Experience creating dashboards, KPI reporting, and actionable business insights.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics, conversion funnels, and customer engagement trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience supporting Director and VP-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Retail or eCommerce industry experience.
• Experience with Adobe Target, Amplitude, or other personalization/testing platforms.
