Hello This is Sheetal from ABSI Urgently looking for SR DYNATRACE ENGINEER for ATLANTA GA location Job Title: Dynatrace Monitoring Engineer / Observability Engineer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Monitoring Engineer with strong expertise in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Infrastructure Monitoring, and Observability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dynatrace Managed and SaaS, enterprise monitoring, cloud platforms, and infrastructure support. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing monitoring solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across enterprise applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Monitoring & Observability • Configure, administer, and optimize Dynatrace monitoring solutions across enterprise environments. • Develop dashboards, alerts, health checks, KPIs, and SLAs to improve system visibility and performance. • Establish proactive monitoring strategies and optimize alert thresholds to reduce false positives. • Monitor application, infrastructure, and cloud environments for performance, availability, and reliability. • Identify monitoring gaps and implement continuous improvements. Infrastructure Monitoring • Monitor Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtual environments, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. • Monitor databases, middleware, storage, and network infrastructure. • Analyze infrastructure performance trends and recommend capacity planning improvements. • Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud engineering teams to maintain system stability. Application Performance Monitoring • Monitor business-critical applications using Dynatrace APM. • Configure transaction monitoring, synthetic monitoring, and Real User Monitoring (RUM). • Analyze application performance bottlenecks and work closely with development teams for optimization. • Support end-to-end transaction tracing and root cause analysis. Incident & Production Support • Participate in production incident response and troubleshooting activities. • Provide monitoring insights during root cause analysis (RCA). • Support 24x7 production monitoring and ensure timely issue resolution. • Integrate monitoring platforms with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira. Continuous Improvement • Recommend best practices for enterprise monitoring and observability. • Improve monitoring documentation, standards, and operational procedures. • Support migration activities from Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS. • Automate monitoring tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting where applicable. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Support, Systems Engineering, or Monitoring. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM/Observability platforms. • Experience migrating Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS. • Strong knowledge of monitoring KPIs, SLAs, baseline thresholds, and enterprise observability. • Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP. • Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, and SSL. • Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting. • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container monitoring. • Experience integrating monitoring platforms with ServiceNow or Jira. • Knowledge of ITIL processes and production support best practices. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications • AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification. • Experience in Healthcare, Financial Services, or other regulated industries. • Exposure to enterprise log analysis and observability platforms. • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
