Role description
We are hiring for Senior ETL Developer (DataStage Consultant)
Location : Hybrid 2- 3 days in Manchester Office
• IBM DataStage Developer with strong experience designing, developing, and leading high-performance ETL pipelines.
• Leading ETL design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, owning critical data domains, and supporting architectural decisions.
• Technical Stack: IBM DataStage (11.x), SQL/PL-SQL, UNIX/Shell Scripting, and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Teradata).
• Deep hands-on proficiency in Parallel Jobs, Lookups, Transformers, Change Capture, Job Parameterization, Shared Containers, and DB Connectors.
• Prior experience in Banking & Financial Services, ensuring adherence to strict regulatory controls, data reconciliation, and audit standards.
• End-to-end data pipeline development, performance tuning, technical documentation, complex batch scheduling (TWS/IWS), and production incident resolution.
Key Skills : IBM DataStage / ETL / Data warehouse / (11.x), SQL/PL-SQL, UNIX/Shell Scripting, and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Teradata).
