Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Data Engineer / Lead Engineer to design and deliver scalable data pipelines and full-stack applications. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AWS cloud, data engineering, and modern UI development, with exposure to financial or asset management domains.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Python, AWS, Airflow, and Snowflake/Redshift
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale datasets
• Build modern web applications using React and UI frameworks (Material UI)
• Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability across infrastructure
• Automate workflows and improve data delivery efficiency
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions
• Create dashboards and tools for business insights and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architecture guidance
Required Skills
• 10+ years in full stack development and data engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS)
• Advanced proficiency in Python (OOP) and SQL
• Experience with Apache Airflow and data orchestration
• Hands-on with Snowflake or Redshift
• Experience in microservices and REST APIs
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Frontend skills: ReactJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong understanding of DevOps and automation practices
Preferred Skills
• Experience in Asset Management / Financial Services
• Familiarity with Aladdin, Bloomberg, or FactSet
• Knowledge of portfolio management, trading, and performance attribution
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude)
Leadership & Soft Skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive delivery
• Experience designing end-to-end scalable solutions
