Role description
Global entertainment and media conglom. looking to hire GIS Technician/Analyst Onsite work schedule in Anaheim, CA, w/working hours 7:30am - 4pm (PDT) 18 month contract (no visa sponsorship or transfer available. Must be paid on w2) Must have experience: β€’ 7+ years with Esri ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, Dashboards). β€’ Strong enterprise GIS management (publishing services, managing permissions, user roles, troubleshooting). β€’ Geodatabase management (schemas, domains, metadata, relational DB integration). β€’ Automation / ETL skills FME, Python (ArcPy), ModelBuilder, SQL, Arcade, Power Automate. β€’ Data visualization & cartography, dashboards, spatial analytics, visual storytelling. Required Education: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, preferred. Responsibilities: β€’ Ecommerce distribution analyst / specialist role. β€’ Support internal and external partners as the β€œon the ground” resource representing the client in implementing and expanding e-Commerce distribution with an existing third party logistics provider. β€’ Manage and maintain content within ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal for ArcGIS), including (but not limited to) publishing services, troubleshooting content, and managing user roles and sharing permissions. β€’ Support project teams in developing scopes of work and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for external consulting resources. β€’ Serve as the geospatial lead on project teams, advocating for spatial needs and coordinating deliverables with project managers, other technical leads, and external vendors. β€’ Ensure spatial data quality and consistency, including enterprise geodatabase data design elements such as schema alignment, domain management, and metadata maintenance. β€’ Build and support automated data workflows using tools such as FME, ArcPy, ModelBuilder, and other tools for ETL processing. β€’ Contribute to the documentation of workflows, publishing protocols, and enterprise GIS governance practices. β€’ Provide technical support to junior GIS staff or non-GIS users, enabling effective use of geospatial applications and tools within the enterprise GIS environment. β€’ Provide materials – such as visualizations, analytics, and presentations – to support executive decision-making. β€’ Conduct field work to investigate and validate asset locations and conditions across the Resort. β€’ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry geospatial products, services, and best practices. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain mobile and web-based GIS resources (e.g., Field Maps, Experience Builder, Survey123, ArcGIS Solutions, Dashboards, etc.) to enhance communication and Resort operational efficiency. β€’ Partner with internal teams to develop, maintain, communicate, and enforce the Company design guidelines, standards, master specifications, and details. β€’ Support integrations between GIS and other data management systems such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Airtable, Maximo, Microsoft 365, and more.
