Role description
Job Role: Senior Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Duration: 6+Months Location: Remote and Travel as needed to Madison, WI Must Have: Lead GA4 implementation and migration projects from Universal Analytics. Experience and expertise in configuration and verification of GA4 and Tag Manager Design and deploy custom tracking solutions using GTM and JavaScript. Develop and maintain data layers across websites and apps. Configure GA4 events, parameters, and user properties to meet business requirements. Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to define KPIs and tracking strategies. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Create dashboards and reports using GA4, BigQuery, and Looker Studio. Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues and discrepancies. Mentor junior analysts/developers on GA4 best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in analytics, with 2+ years focused on GA4. Expert-level proficiency in GA4, GTM, and JavaScript. Strong understanding of data layer design and implementation. Experience with BigQuery, SQL, and Looker Studio (or similar BI tools). Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., GA Debugger, Tag Assistant). Knowledge of privacy and data governance standards. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
